How it works
The black box, opened.
A sourcing relationship should be legible from the first email. Here is exactly how a stone reaches you — and where you stop, check, and decide at every step.
Nothing is sold from a catalogue. You set a brief; we search for stones that match it; every candidate is independently certified and verified by you before anything proceeds. Six steps, each one removing a specific fear.
Step I. Private inquiry
You tell us what you're looking for — colour, size, budget, and the occasion, if there is one. Confidential, no obligation.
Low commitment. Complete discretion.
Step II. Private consultation
We talk through your brief and what it can realistically source. The conversation also establishes whether the search is appropriate before either side proceeds.
Real people. Mutual verification. No pressure.
Step III. Sourcing
A private search is shaped by your brief rather than by a public catalogue or assumed inventory.
Your brief drives it, not our inventory.
Step IV. Certified candidates
Each candidate is presented with the independent laboratory documentation available for that stone. Report details can be checked before anything proceeds.
Is it real, and as-graded? You check, first.
Step V. Viewing, then decision
The available viewing method is confirmed for each candidate, with time to review its documentation before commitment.
Review before commitment. No pressure.
Step VI. Documented acquisition and delivery
Payment, documentation and delivery terms are agreed in writing for each acquisition before commitment.
The terms are clear before anything proceeds.
Aftercare arrangements are confirmed individually as part of the written acquisition terms.
The step that carries the most weight is the fourth. How verification, provenance, payment and delivery actually work is set out in full on Certification & Trust.
